The activity's purpose last May 23, 2013 was to make use of the campaign posters and tarpaulins collected during Post-E into useful materials. Twelve members were able to attend. The group gathered all the tarpaulins and thought of things they wanted to create. Some made market bags, wallets, box and even envelopes.
The problem with the workshop was the lacked of materials like needles. To understand this problem, the group decided to make this workshop a contest among the members of the club. They were given a chance to make anything they want out of the collected tarpaulins then post it in the Facebook page of the club. The contest will end on June 30, 2013, giving them at least a month to create their masterpiece. A prize will be given to the chosen winner and will be given a chance to include his/her work in the year end report.
Moreover, since the group collected large amount of tarpaulins, the remains were decided to be made into envelopes or pencil cases to be given to the children of Suhay Daycare Center during the upcoming Alay Turo, Dugtong Kinabukasan project this August 2013.
