The Rotaract Club of Los Baños held another workshop, this time, it aims to make notebooks out of old materials like handouts, envelopes and the like. Fifteen of the members were able to attend the workshop that resulted to a successful and worth it day. Perseverance is what the group used to finish the task in hand. The Club was able to make at least 30 notebooks from the recyclable materials. They are to be donated to the street children this coming June 12, 2013.
All of this with the out most willingness of Rotaractor Amanda Lee Centeno to help the children who sell sampaguita flower inside the UPLB campus. Also with that, the club spend 200 pesos for pencils and ballpens to be included to the donation package. The group estimated 15 children to be the beneficiary of this activity. Other personalities and organizations also acknowledge the proposed project of Rotaractor Centeno. It's an immediate project since the classes had already begun in Elementary and High Schools.
