As Back to School is coming, every school is participating in the activity guided by the Department of Education, called The Brigada Eskwela in which it occurs every month of May. Every school will start reorganizing, cleaning and fixing their respective classrooms. To strengthen and to speed up the work, students, teachers, parents and other civic organizations like the Rotaract Club of Los Baños lend some in order to restore the cleanliness of the school.
Today, the Brigada Eskwela 2013 has officially started in different public schools. The club focused in the most populated high school in the community, the Los Baños National High School. The opening ceremony started eight in the morning. Principal III Mrs. Leonila V. Murad led on this event. She assigned the students and teachers to clean in their respective classrooms and have some instructions to others to help in the cleaning.
As one of the Civic organizations in the community of Los Baños, the Rotaract Club of Los Baños wouldn’t want to miss participating in this national event. There were 10 Rotaractors who attended and participated in this activity. Since the school is too organized and volunteers have been helping all around, the club covered six class rooms, not much work compared to last year’s Brigada Eskwela.
